This track is awesome, i dig the way you used all the random samples, kinda reminds me of my "Medication time" song, cept on acid.

this is a bit disturbing. thought provoking too. both good, especially when combined. i really like the mellow and repetetive, but lighter nature to the music,... keeps this one provoking rather than depressing.... ending was a bit harsh though... but maybe that's what you were going for...

Thanks for the feed back.

Dark music for Dark times.

I won't be doing any more material with vocal samples. This is #3; I think I've abused that production option enough.

This song was inspired by reading the transcripts of the trial of the "Chicago 7"(the defendants in the trial for inciting riots at the 68 Democratic Convention in Chicago).

It is a reflection upon the type of society that was being preached by many at the time; particularly Abbie Hoffman, Timothy Leary and Ram Dass. The utopia they envisioned was completely unattainable and delusional.

Likewise the fear that these leaders generated in the minds of the established conservative right created a backlash, which has been building ever since, and is currently manifesting itself in our nation's sorry state of affairs.

Thus, I had no choice for the composition to be dark; even harsh. Most of the track had to be done on headphones, as it was making some of my housemates rather uncomfortable to hear it repeatedly.
